The HPE Sourcing Synergy 3830C 16Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter is designed to enhance the connectivity of HPE Synergy compute resources. With a data transfer rate of 16 Gbit/s and two total Fibre Channel ports, this mezzanine adapter provides flexible configuration options and supports high - density server virtualization environments. It is capable of delivering twice the data throughput compared to 8Gb FC HBAs, resulting in improved application performance. The Dynamic Port Utilization architecture allows for up to 600K Input Output Operations per second (IOPS) on each port, or up to 1.2 million IOPS with single port operation. Additionally, it supports QLogic StorFusion technology, enhancing diagnostic capabilities and improving Quality of Service (QoS) when connected to Brocade 16Gb FC fabrics.
